Donation in Memory of Deanna Housfeld

Deanna Housfeld

Deanna started painting after retiring from a long career as educator and administrator for the Milwaukee, WI public schools. She and her husband came to Punta Gorda after and purchased their home.  She worked with acrylics, assisted in reorganizing the Art Library at the VAC, and enjoyed the fellowship of the Thursday painting group.  
“My love and interest in nautical themes is evident through my work. I believe the shapes of these objects are descriptive of the human need to explore.”

***In lieu of flowers, please consider a contribution to the Deanna Housfeld Memorial, Charlotte County VAC, 210 Maude Street, Punta Gorda, FL 33950, for the purpose of supporting the Visual Arts Center.
