Make a Donation

Your donation to the Visual Arts Center helps perpetuate the arts in our community. We do not receive any Federal, State or Local tax revenue and operate mainly on membership dues and donations. Your generous donations help us keep the cost of classes and exhibits low, provide summer camp for youth and teens and cover regular operating costs required to keep our doors open and free to everyone.

A nonprofit organization cannot usually sustain itself by service fees and dues alone. One-time donations help us break even each and every year. The monies donated by people just like you make the critical difference in a positive or negative fund balance.

#GivingTuesday, the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, is a global day of giving powered by individuals, families, organizations, businesses and communities in all 50 states and in countries around the world. Funds donated to the Visual Arts Center during #GivingTuesday are typically matched and are typically applied towards capital improvements.

This year, #GivingTuesday falls on November 28th, 2023. We hope you will help us make it a success!

Charlotte Community Foundation Support

The Visual Arts Center is pleased to announce it has received a $5000 grant from the Charlotte Community Foundation. These funds will support the "Classroom 6" project.

The former library will be moving to the hallway with a fresh look and feel and the room will be transformed into a new classroom to house painting, drawing, scratchboard, and other classes throughout the year. This gives us the opportunity to hold year-round Youth classes for children ages 5 through High School.

The Charlotte Community Foundation awards annual grants through a competitive application and review process.
