The Visual Arts Center (VAC) offers a variety of education opportunities for beginner, intermediate, and advanced artists, and those just interested in exploring art. ONSITE CLASSES - Instructor led classes in a variety of 2D and 3D art mediums
ONLINE CLASSES - Take live classes from the convenience of your home via Zoom.
WORKSHOPS - Specialty techniques in half-day to multi-day session(s) with VAC or Guest instructors.
ART SOCIALS - A fun art get together. Create an art project with supplies and wine included, in less than 2 hours.
OPEN STUDIOS - Work on your individual project at the VAC in small groups - no instructor.
YOUTH CLASSES -Ages 8 to 20 Instructor led classes in a variety of 2D and 3D art mediums.

Advance registration is required. Online registration closes 72 hours prior to start dates. If you miss the start date, you may email firstname.lastname@example.org and ask to join mid-session. Art Supplies and an optional Class Supply Kit is available for most classes in the VAC Supply Store.
Class Times: Monday through Friday, morning sessions meet from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm, and afternoon sessions meet from 1:00 - 4:00 pm. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, evening sessions meet from 6:00 - 9:00 pm. Saturday sessions meet from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm. The VAC opens 1/2 hour prior to class start time.

COVID-19 Precautions: Worktable separations are available to accommodate social distancing guidelines and cleaning wipes are available in each classroom. As an extra precaution, we suggest each student wipe their space before and after use. Gloves and masks are not required but are available at the front desk for those who wish to use them. Personal hand sprays will also be available.
We encourage anyone who registers for a class and does not feel well to remain home and let us know.
