Art Classes Onsite

Join us onsite for Instructor led classes in a variety of 2D and 3D art mediums at the VAC! Classes meet weekly for 3 hours each, beginning the week of October 8th. Classes are available for all skill levels from beginners to experts and typically run 4 or 6 Weeks. Registration closes 72 hours prior to start date. If you miss the start date, you may email info@visualartcenter.org and ask to join mid-session. Open to 8 or fewer participants. An optional Class Supply Kit is available in the Art Supply Store for most classes.

Cost: 4-week classes are $80 per class session ($100 non-members) and 6-week classes are $120 per class session ($150 non-members)

Class Times:  Morning sessions meet from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm, and afternoon sessions meet from 1:00 - 4:00 pm. Evening sessions meet from 6:00 - 9:00 pm. 

Register Online:  To reduce personal contact, please register and pay for classes online. If you have any trouble using the website to register or pay your fees, please call the VAC at 941-639-8810 (from 10am to 2pm, Monday through Friday) or email info@visualartcenter.org and someone will help you.  

COVID-19 Precautions: Worktable separations will accommodate social distancing guidelines.  We will wipe tables before and after each class, however, cleaning wipes will be available in each classroom.  As an extra precaution, we suggest each student wipe their space before and after use.  Gloves and masks are not required but are available at the front desk for those who wish to use them. Personal hand sprays will also be available.

We encourage anyone who registers for a class and does not feel well to remain home and let us know.  You will receive full credit for the remaining sessions of your class.
