Draw & Paint with Miner - CREATIVE RESIN-ATIONS - ‘MAKIN’ WAVES’ RESIN ART WORKSHOP

Learn the art of "free pour" resin with Brigitte Miner at the Visual Arts Center (VAC).  During this ‘free pour’ workshop you’ll learn about resin, pigments, tools & different techniques to create this realistic wave action on a serving board.  First, you will practice applying the learned techniques onto a pressed board. The 2nd time you will apply the resin onto your large (13” x 16”) round bamboo serving board with handle. The board is left overnight to cure. It is recommended to wear an apron. This workshop requires standing for a long period of time. Please contact the VAC if you require other accommodations or more space. The resin is VOC free. Per manufacturer no respirator is needed although you may bring one if you choose. The Resin when cured, is USFDA food safe.

    Registration: Registration closes 72 hours prior to start date. If you miss the start date, email info@visualartcenter.org and ask to join mid-session. Please register and reserve your space online so we can send you instructions and video links.     Deposits, Cancellations & Refunds: All workshop dates and times are subject to change. Workshops with a start date within 30 days require payment in full to reserve a place.

Prepaid class fees (paid more than 30 days in advance) are refundable less a non-refundable reservation deposit of $25 (VAC Members $20) up until 30 days prior to a class start date at which time all class fees become non-refundable unless the class is cancelled by the VAC.
