Jewelry with Brooks - ENAMELING FOR JEWELRY
Learn Jewelry Enameling with Instructor Dianne Brooks at the Visual Arts Center (VAC) Jewelry Studio. This class will cover safety, tool and material usage, kiln firing procedures, metal preparation, enamel application methods (sifting, wetpacking), design techniques (sgraffito, stencils, inclusions, textured surfaces, champleve, cloisonne, plique a jour, painting, and more). Basic projects will include sgraffito, stencils, inclusions, textured surfaces. Instructor will have die-cut copper forms available. Material Fee: $45.
The $45 material fee will include all enamels and consumable supplies,inclusions, cloisonne wires, tool usage as well as 5 copper pieces to enamel. Additional copper and silver will be available for purchase.

Thursdays, 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm - Advanced
Material Fee: $45Session: Class meets once each week for 3 hours and is offered in 6-week sessions for $150 (VAC Members $120).
Materials Fee: Materials for class projects are provided by the Instructor for this class for a fee of $45 which may be paid in advance or on the first day of class.
All class dates and times are subject to change. Classes with a start date within 30 days require payment in full to reserve a place. Prepaid class fees (paid more than 30 days in advance) are refundable less a non-refundable reservation deposit of $25 (VAC Members $20) up until 30 days prior to a class start date at which time all class fees become non-refundable unless the class is cancelled by the VAC.
Please register early. Classes with less than five registered students may be cancelled up to 24 hours in advance of the start date. Cancellation notifications are made by email and/or telephone (including voice messages) to the email address and telephone number on file. Please check your voice mail and email prior to leaving for class.
