Workshop with Grecian - COLOR THEORY (Beginner)

Study Beginning Color Theory with Mike Grecian during a full day Workshop at the Visual Arts Center (VAC).

Learn the basics and more on the color wheel, color relationships, and how to make your colors sing in your paintings. We will use primary mixing colors and you will learn to mix secondary colors, and be introduced to color relationships that will certainly strengthen your visual statements. Whether you work in watercolor, oils, acrylics, this is a must do class!

Participants take home a myriad of new ideas and free product samples to continue working at home. A few hours with Mike will provide inspiration for your next projects as well as a fun time with fellow artists!

    Deposits, Cancellations & Refunds: All workshop dates and times are subject to change. Workshops with a start date within 30 days require payment in full to reserve a place.

    If the tuition for a Workshop exceeds $200, typically a space can be reserved up to 30 days prior with a non-refundable reservation deposit ranging from $45 to $60 ($36 to $48 VAC Member). If this option is available, the amount will be listed under the workshop description and will be available for space reservation online. The full balance is due 30 days prior to the workshop start date. Reservation deposits are non-refundable unless the workshop is cancelled by the VAC. Prepaid class or workshop fees (paid more than 30 days in advance) are refundable less the non-refundable reservation deposit up until 30 days prior to a class start date at which time all class and workshop fees become non-refundable unless the class is cancelled by the VAC.  

    Please register early. Workshops with less than five registered students may be cancelled up to 24 hours in advance of the start date.  Cancellation notifications are made by email and/or telephone (including voice messages) to the email address and telephone number on file. Please check your voice mail and email prior to leaving for class.
