Create & Sip Art Social with Unwin - Scratchboard & Sangria

Create & Sip Socials at the Visual Arts Center (VAC). Join us for Scratchboard & Sangria Saturdays from 11am-1pm hosted by Sheryl Unwin !

Enjoy a fun time making a Scratchboard drawing while enjoying a glass of Sangria.  Scratchboard is an illustrative technique using sharp knives and tools for engraving into a thin layer of white China clay coated with dark, often black India ink. You will be given samples and learn the different types of boards that can be used, the range of techniques and variety of different tools for etching your image. Sessions begin with a glass of Sangria at 11am and end before 1pm pm with a finished piece of art in this interesting medium. Great for friends, couples, relatives, or just yourself - an exciting way to spend time creating and expressing yourself. 

Supplies and snacks are all included. A fun evening out with lots of laughs- bring a friend or two!

CLASS REFUND POLICY

Class tuition is fully refundable, less a non-refundable reservation deposit of $25 ($20 VAC Member) up until 30 days prior to class. An Education Credit (less non-refundable deposit) may be issued towards a future class between 29 days and 10 days prior to class start. All fees become non-refundable 9 days prior to class start unless the class is cancelled by the VAC.
