Wednesday, August 6, 2025 from 9am to 4pm - Lunch Break from 12pm to 1pm.

Join Beverly Yankwitt for a one-day Collage Workshop at the Visual Arts Center (VAC). Immerse yourself in a full-day workshop that will spark your creativity then turn it into colorful mixed media collaged paintings.  This workshop will introduce you to a variety of collage ideas and techniques.

Collage is an art form where different materials, like paper, photographs and other objects are glued or otherwise attached to a surface to create a new artwork.  It is a form of mixed media art where various elements are combined to form a unified composition.  The term "collage" comes from the French word "coller" which means "to glue".
