CALL TO ARTISTS

TO REGISTER FOR A SCHEDULED EXHIBIT . . . 

Exhibit Registration will be online only.

Please scroll to the bottom of the page to find all currently open Call to Artists for upcoming scheduled exhibits.  To register for an Exhibit, select the appropriate exhibit and follow the registration process.  All registrations should be made online and will require the following to register:

  • Select number of entries (typically 1 to 3)
  • Name of submitting artist (first and last name)
  • Wall card name (if different from name of artist)
  • Current email address
  • Current phone number
  • Title of each piece of artwork
  • Artwork medium for each submittal
  • Size of each piece of artwork - width & height in inches with frame (if applicable)
  • Selling price of each piece of artwork 
  • Photo of each piece of artwork with identifying name in photo title (both artwork title and artist's name) in jpg format
  • Entry fee for the number of pieces submitted.

Please check each exhibit to view its specific requirements. Some exhibits are open only to VAC Members, and others are open to members and nonmember guest artists, (hopefully future members). When all required information is gathered, select the number of entries, fill in all the blanks (required) and use a credit or debit card to pay your fee online.

ART SALES | Artists receive 65% of each artwork sold. | VAC's share is 35%.  Please price your artwork accordingly.

 

RENTING A WALL, HALL, OR GALLERY SPACE

Rebecca Hall and Goff Gallery offer opportunities to rent space for a private or group display.  If you are interested in renting space, please email exhibits@visualartcenter.org for more information.

PARTICIPATING IN OFF-SITE EXHIBITS

The VAC has several opportunities for VAC Member Artists to exhibit their work within the Community.  Currently, art can be displayed at the Wyvern Hotel and the Charlotte County Administration Building.  If you are interested in participating as a featured artist, please email exhibits@visualartcenter.org.  There is no cost to participate.  Click here for more information.
