MEMBERS DISCOUNT NOW REQUIRES PROMO CODE With our new management system, a promo code will be required for member discounts on our classes, workshops, etc. A promo code will be emailed out before registration begins for Fall, Winter, and Spring classes. The code will change with each session. Please do not pass out this code to anyone. If your membership is not up to date when you are registering, you must either renew or pay the non-member price. REGISTRATION AND REFUND POLICY
Included in each class registration is a non-refundable $25 reservation fee. Any cancellation must be
received in writing, via email or letter, as well as a phone call, at least 10 days prior to the start of the class or workshop. Email or handwritten, to include date, name of student, name and date of the class.
Students who meet this requirement will receive a refund minus the $25.00 reservation fee. All classes become non-refundable 9 days prior to classes/workshops.
These classes or workshops are taught by artist instructors that come from all over SW Florida. For this reason, we rely on each student’s commitment to attend these workshops in order to support travel and instructor compensation for these artists.

MISSED CLASSES
The Visual Arts Center staff always does its best to accommodate all students. The Visual Arts Center is NOT responsible for providing students with make-up classes when a student has missed a class for any reason not the fault of the instructors or the Visual Arts Center. There are no refunds or make-ups for missed classes. Upon request, we will issue a tax-deductible donation receipt for missed classes to the value of the time missed.
THERE IS NO PRORATING CLASS CHANGES/CANCELLED COURSES
The Visual Arts Center reserves the right to substitute instructors for any of its classes at any point in any term and to change is calendar, withdraw or modify a course at any time. Classes or workshops canceled due to inclement weather will be rescheduled or make-up days scheduled, according to the instructor and studio availability.
Students enrolled in courses which are canceled by the VAC will receive a full refund. In the event that a class or workshop is canceled, every effort will be made to notify students as quickly as possible or see if a comparable class with another instructor will work.
If we do not have minimum participation, we will notify registered students by phone within 48 hours of the start of the class/workshop and see if a comparable class with another instructor will work for the student.
