Join Sherry Handcuff in a fun two-hour hands-on glassblowing workshop. Learn flameworking basics—torch setup, safety, heating, cooling, and blowing—to create three colorful glass pieces like ornaments and aqua tubes.

An additional $15.00 material cost paid to instructor.

For safety, please wear closed-toe shoes and secure long hair; avoid loose sleeves and jewelry.

Artist Biography: Sherry Hancuff brings a unique blend of science and creativity to the Visual Arts Center. After a 25-year career in the biotechnology industry, she transitioned to the arts and has owned and operated her own creative studio for the past 11 years. Her work spans ceramics, fused glass and mixed media, with glass as her favorite medium for its luminosity and limitless possibilities. Sherry enjoys sharing her knowledge and inspiring others to explore the beauty of glass through hands-on learning and experimentation.
