The Visual Arts Center (VAC) is a nonprofit community art center focused on the visual arts.
Vision: To provide everyone a place to enjoy the arts with opportunities to learn and appreciate all visual art forms.
Mission: To inspire, explore, create and promote the visual arts.
The income the Visual Arts Center takes in from classes, exhibits, and membership dues only pays for 70% of its annual operating cost. The rest must come from donations, sponsorships and fundraising activities.
- Special Community Programs: Your donations not only support the VAC but allow us to offer youth art programs, and special needs programs for disabled and veterans groups.
- Matching Grant Opportunities: Whenever possible, the VAC uses your donation to match other funding and grant opportunities to make each dollar donated grow in value.
- Capital Needs: The VAC continuously has capital needs to maintain and upgrade facilities, including hurricane windows, expanded and upgraded classrooms and exhibit galleries, updated equipment, and more.
- VAC Endowment Trust: Giving to the VAC Endowment Trust is leaving a legacy and building for the future. Your gift to the Endowment Trust ensures the VAC will be here to provide art opportunities for future generations.
Each dollar is appreciated and used with care to provide the highest benefit possible for artists, the community and the VAC.
