Expand your needle felting skills into 3D Art with Paulette Morrissey at the Visual Arts Center (VAC).   

This class is an advanced course in needle felting.  Needle felting experience or completion of the 2D Art class is recommended.  You need to have taken the beginner class first or have already been doing needle felting on your own. In this class, you’ll select a bird to make, form the basic body shape first, then add the colors you want for whatever bird you are making. You’ll learn how to make a nice firm little felted beak, as well as separate wings and tails. Then you’ll finish your bird by making feet with wire and florist tape. 

Material Fee: $30 material fee to instructor includes all supplies and tools you’ll need to complete the bird that was selected. Felting pad, needles and leftover supplies are yours to keep.
