Learn Jewelry Enameling with Instructor Susan Priess at the Visual Arts Center (VAC). You will learn the basics of enameling jewelry, including using enameling tools, kiln safety, working with powdered glass, and embellishing your enamel work with glass frit, millefiori, and reflective beads.  You will apply vitreous enamel to metal using a sifter and a brush, learn the sgrafitto technique, explore cloisonné and champlevé. See powdered glass bring metal alive with glowing colors after firing with precision and evolve into glorious original jewelry designed by you! A Basic Tool Kit is required which can be purchased or rented.  Each class has a material fee paid to the instructor to cover enamels, adhesives, embellishments and other consumables.
