Join Anna Hickner for a fun night at the Visual Arts Center (VAC).  Create a unique art project each session using the fun craft of Mosaics.  Mosaic art is a decorative technique where images or patterns are created by arranging small pieces of materials like stone, glass, ceramic and more. It's fun and easy, and in 2 hours you can complete a unique mosaic creation.  

Artist's Biography:

Anna Hickner is a talented mosaic artist who brings a fresh, hands-on approach to art.  Anna is also a critical care nurse, who uses her artistic practice to be creative and alleviate stress.   She is the founder of Kitsap Mosaics, located in Historic Downtown Poulsbo, Washington, a community founded on Norwegian Heritage and a popular haven for the arts.  With a passion for color, texture and pattern, Anna transforms everyday materials into beautiful works of art, inspiring creativity and connection.
