Digital with Monaco-King | INTRO TO DIGITAL ARTS USING PROCREATE | All Levels

This beginner-friendly class introduces you to the world of digital art using Procreate. We'll cover all the essential tools and features you need to start creating confidently, making it easy and approachable for new artists to dive into digital illustration.  

Students must have their own device with Procreate.

Artist's Biography: 

Joanne Monaco-King

I’ve been painting and selling art since I was a young girl—earning enough to buy my first car, a 1956 Buick, by selling my paintings in furniture stores and various venues. My career began in commercial design and prepress printing, where I became a certified master craftsman in graphic design and prepress printing (Cert. #55412 PIA, MCPA). My first professional design job was creating tombstones. Over the years, I’ve exhibited work at galleries including St. James Gallery in Bradenton, FL, and my art has been featured in venues such as the Chattanooga Library, Books-a-Million, and multiple Florida art centers including Punta Gorda and North Port.

Now based in Port Charlotte, FL, I own JMK Designs, Inc. (a freelance graphic design business) and my studio, Artaze. My work has been shown internationally through Café I, featured in seven of their art publications, and displayed in solo and group exhibitions. I’ve also designed t-shirts, tattoos, and apparel for bars, tournaments, and companies nationwide, as well as custom branding, web, and promotional designs for businesses and musicians.
