Open Studios at the Visual Arts Center are for VAC Member & Non-Member Artists with some experience (not for the beginner). Join other artists, one week at a time, or sign up for multiple sessions. Open Studios do not include formal instruction, however, a VAC Coordinator is available to connect you to VAC resources, and may offer suggestions and critiquing, if requested. Registration is required for each individual session, however, Convenience Cards can be purchased for 6 sessions, if desired. Some Open Studios are only offered seasonally and some meet all year.
- 2D Art - Thursdays 10am-12pm - $15 ($12 VAC Member)
- Alcohol Inc & Water Media - Fridays 1pm-4pm - $15 ($12 VAC Member)
- Portrait Studio - Thursdays 9:30am-12pm - $15 ($12 VAC Member)
- Life Drawing - Tuesdays 6pm-8:30pm - $25 ($20 VAC Member)
- Jewelry - Thursdays 1pm-4pm - $15 ($12 VAC Member)
- Fiber Arts - Mondays & Fridays 1pm-4pm - $15 ($12 VAC Member)
- Pottery - Tuesdays & Wednesdays 1pm-4pm - $35 ($28 VAC Member)
To Register: Scroll to the bottom of the page and select the Open Studio box that interests you to reserve your space . . . or . . . Call the VAC at 941-639-8810 and ask to be added to the list and pay at the door when you arrive.
