Learn how to hand carve your own stamps through Printmaking techniques and make your own holiday cards and gifts with your own artwork! The stamps you create can be used to decorate cards, print your own wrapping paper, revive well-loved clothing with your own artwork, create your own patches, or simply print your stamp on paper and hang it in your home or give it as a gift. You will learn how to transfer your design to the stamp, carve safely, what inks to use, and how to print! 

Students must purchase carving tools prior to class.

Artist Biography:

Multidisciplinary artist Jordyn Berger (BFA) was born and raised in Florida, only leaving the state for college in Baltimore, MD where she studied Fine Art, Illustration, and ecology. Her work resides in themes of Florida’s wildlife and Florida's car culture. Though an oil painter at heart, Jordyn has now delved into printmaking and upcycling clothing using her hand carved linocut prints.
