Join Joanne Stramara for a special watercolor portrait workshop at the Visual Arts Center (VAC).  Learn how to choose, pose, and photograph your model and paint a person with emotion.  Define your concept and composition, create skin tones and add background. You will focus on face and clothing details and learn techniques for the nose, mouth, neck shadows, eyes, hair lips and ears.

  • In the July Workshop, the instructor will choose a photo and everyone will work from the same photo. Portrait samples are representative of instructor artist's work but not what will be selected for the July Workshop.
