A pottery class just for teens . . . Looking for something fun to do over the summer? Join Steve Strunk at the Visual Arts Center (VAC) Pottery Studio for an art adventure. Learn the basics of the pottery wheel This class caters to the beginner with a desire to learn the art and technique of creating pottery on the pottery wheel. Learn about different clays, glazes, and techniques. During this class you will learn how to make a basic bowl, cup, and plate.
Supplies:
- Pottery Tool Kit: You will need sponges and pottery tools which can be purchased at the VAC Art & Supply Store.
- Clay, Glazes & Kiln Firing Time: Classes include approximately $60 of clay, glazing (using VAC standard glazes) and firing.

Class Refund: Class tuition is fully refundable, less a non-refundable reservation deposit of $25 ($20 VAC Member) up until 30 days prior to class. An Education Credit (less non-refundable deposit) may be issued towards a future class between 29 days and 10 days prior to class start.
