Steve Strunk and his family moved to Punta Gorda from Washington D.C. around 20 years ago. He attended Prince George's College in MAryland and has a degree in Broadcasting. He was first introduced to pottery through the Visual Arts Center Pottery Studio and found his passion. Over the next 7 years, he developed his skills and advanced techniques under master pottery instructors. Today, he is an award-winning potter, and his works can be found in the Visual Arts Center Gift Shop and Pottery Studio. With many years of experience, Steve is also dedicated to teaching pottery to teens, people with disabilities, and veterans, bringing his expertise and passion for clay to a wide range of communities.
