Discover the art of fused glass in a hands-on workshop! Design and create your own suncatchers, garden stakes, nightlights, or lantern panels. Learn glass cutting and layering techniques while making colorful, kiln-fused pieces to brighten your home or garden.
An additional $30.00 material cost paid to instructor.
For safety, please wear closed-toe shoes and secure long hair; avoid loose sleeves and jewelry.
Artist Biography: Sherry Hancuff brings a unique blend of science and creativity to the Visual Arts Center. After a 25-year career in the biotechnology industry, she transitioned to the arts and has owned and operated her own creative studio for the past 11 years. Her work spans ceramics, fused glass and mixed media, with glass as her favorite medium for its luminosity and limitless possibilities. Sherry enjoys sharing her knowledge and inspiring others to explore the beauty of glass through hands-on learning and experimentation.
