Pottery Art Classes at the Visual Arts Center (VAC)
Get your hands on the wheel and explore the art of pottery at the Visual Arts Center! Our instructor-led classes and workshops offer a fun, hands-on experience for all skill levels—from beginners to experienced ceramic artists.
Learn essential techniques such as wheel throwing, hand-building, glazing, and surface design while creating both functional and decorative pieces. Develop your skills in a supportive and creative studio environment.
- Classes run from 2 to 6 weeks for in-depth, hands-on learning
- Workshops focus on specialty techniques in half-day to multi-day sessions
- Led by experienced VAC instructors and guest artists
Whether you're shaping your first clay piece or refining your craft, pottery classes offer a rewarding and creative experience.
Class hours are during Hours of Operation:
Monday - Friday: 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
Saturday: 10:00am - 2:00pm
The VAC opens 1/2 hour prior to class start time.
