Kit Moran - Painting

Kitt Moran was born and raised in New Jersey. She moved to SW Florida with her husband almost 20 years ago. Kitt has won numerous awards and has been juried into many National and International Art Shows.

"I am an expressionistic painter. My paintings are inspired by my love of capturing a moment in time. I'm interested in portraiture, figurative to landscape paintings with bold and expressive brushwork. My main and favorite medium is oil. 

I believe that strong composition and values are the most important techniques for a good painting. And I do love color! 

My goal is to convey the beauty and wonder of people and our world. 

Painting has taught me to see, "really" see.
