Develop your Pottery skills with Steve Strunk at the Visual Arts Center's (VAC) Pottery Studio. Learn the basics of the pottery wheel. This class caters to the beginner with a desire to learn the art and technique of creating pottery on the pottery wheel. Learn about different clays, glazes, and techniques. During this class you will learn how to make a basic bowl, cup, and plate.
Supplies:
- Pottery Tool Kit: You will need sponges and a pottery tool kit ($21) which can be purchased at the VAC Art & Supply Store.
- Clay, Glazes & Kiln Firing Time: Classes include approximately $60 of clay, glazing (using VAC standard glazes) and firing.
